SRMG Academy and Neom are teaming up for the second consecutive year in
                                                                a project designed to uncover and upskill young Saudi talent in
                                                                journalism.
                                                                Master Your Platform is a four-week course in Riyadh that focuses on
                                                                essential digital skills required to thrive covering issues relating to
                                                                consumer journalism, travel, music, food, and lifestyle.
                                                                The two entities have co-designed the program, with SRMG bringing
                                                                together its global media team leaders to train and inspire the
                                                                participants, offering them a chance to train, be mentored, and
                                                                enter post-program internships and jobs at SRMG’s prestigious media
                                                                companies.
                                                                The course will be led by instructors from SRMG Academy, plus a group of
                                                                senior journalists with experience in some of the world’s biggest media
                                                                entities such as the BBC, Conde Nast, Reuters,
                                                                CNN Arabic, and SRMG’s top talent from the region.

                                                            The four-week hybrid course will focus on equipping the participants with
                                                            sophisticated digital skills that would help them stand out
                                                            in today’s rapidly-changing media industry. It will be split into two
                                                            phases: two weeks of intensive in-person classes followed by
                                                            two weeks of virtual training, including self-paced material developed
                                                            exclusively by SRMG Academy. At the end of the course, the
                                                            best performing trainees will be placed in a two-month paid internship at
                                                            SRMG and may be offered jobs at the end of the period
                                                            based on talent and business need.
